Working to the Same Agenda
The consumer goods industry touches the daily lives of 7 billion consumers and accounts for one third of global GDP. The new Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) brings the organizations involved in this vast undertaking into one single body, working to the same agenda.
The new leaders of CGF Coca-Cola CEO Muhtar Kent and Carrefour CEO Lars Olofsson have outlined their goals and priorities. With its huge resources and influence at its disposal, the CGF has the ability to make change happen.
The five key planks of change will be sustainability; health; wellness; and food safety;
operational excellence; knowledge sharing/people development and emerging trends. These are the big areas where the CGF can “make a real difference”.
